Kano Senior Healthcare Personnel Gets Query Over Alleged Negligence Of Duty

The Kano State Commissioner for Health Dr Aminu Ibrahim Tsanyawa on Monday ordered the issuance of a query to an officer in charge of Rimin Gado Comprehensive healthcare center, in Rimin Gado Local government area, Habibu Mohammad Auwal.

In a statement issued to newsmen by the Public Relations Officer in the ministry, Isma'il Garba Gwammaja, said Habibu Auwal was given the query for allegedly not discharging his duties.

Dr. Tsanyawa disclosed this when he paid a supervision visit to the area as part of his effort to monitor the on-going meningitis campaign (Men A) campaign in the state.
 
The commissioner who expressed with dismay despite the efforts by Kano state government to provided the basic equipments in the state's hospitals, Malam Habibu as the most senior in the Healthcare Facility, could not order the environment be kept tidy.

He said that the present administration of Governor Ganduje would not condone any act of negligence of duty.
