Governor Matawalle Attends Honourable Mai-Palace's Mother's Funeral Prayer, Burial, Says Zamfara People Lost Remarkable Mother.

The Governor Bello Mohammed Matawallen of Zamfara State on Thursday attended the funeral prayer and burial of mother to Honourable member Representing Gusau/Tsafe at the National Assembly's green chamber,
late Hajiya Rabiatu Muhammad. 

The funeral prayer was held at Tudun Wada Gusau Jumaat Mosque and was led by the deputy Imam of the Mosque, Mallam Shehu liman Isah Shuraihu. 

The Governor was also among the people that escorted the remains of the deceased to Musallah Eid burial ground.

Governor Matawalle also extended his heartfelt condolences to the family of the deceased and prayed Allah to reward her soul with Jannatul Firdaus and give the family the fortitude to bear the loss. 

He said that her death is a great loss not only to her family but to the entire people of Gusau and the State in General. 

He remarked that late Hajiya Rabiatu spent a life full of sincerity and devotion that will be emulated by many. 

Responding on behalf of the deceased family, her son, Honourable Kabiru Amadu Maipalace thanked the Governor for the condolence visit and prayed Allah to reward him abundantly. 

The funeral prayer was attended by the Honourable, Speaker Zamfara State House of Assembly, Honourable Nasiru Maazu Magarya, Former Deputy Governors, Mallam Ibrahim Wakkala Muhammad and Alhaji Mukhtar Ahmed Anka, Secretary to Zamfara State Government, Alhaji Bala Bello Maru, and the State Head of Service, Alhaji Kabiru Balarabe.

Others were Honorary Adviser to the Governor Ambassador Bashir Yuguda Gusau, Former Speaker, Honourable Bature Umar Sambo, Politicians and Business leaders among others. 

It is revealed that the late Hajiya Rabi'atu Muhammad died at the age of 65 on Wednesday, 27/11/2019, at Arab Hospital, Abuja as a result of prolonged illness and she was said to survived by six children and many grandchildren. 

The remains of the deceased has since been buried at Musallah Eid cemetery in Gusau according to Islamic rites.
