Zamfara: Member House Of Assembly Empowers No Fewer Than 700 Constituents.

The Zamfara State Lawmaker representing Gusau-Tsafe Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Hon. Kabiru Amadu Mai-Palace, has on Sunday empowered more than fifty women with sewing machine, weaving machine and money to kick start their businesses.

The Zamfara State Lawmaker representing Gusau-Tsafe Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Hon. Kabiru Amadu Mai-Palace, has on Sunday empowered more than fifty women with sewing machine, weaving machine and money to kick start their businesses.
Personal Secretary to the lawmaker, Mustapha Hassan made this known in an interview with newsmen in Gusau, adding that the gesture was aimed at assisting the constituents to be productive and add value to the state's economy and Nigeria at large.
Mustapha said the lawmaker has vowed to continue the empowerment scheme in his constituency to provide the teeming youths and women with capital and means to to engage in various businesses to become self reliant.
He said the lawmaker has pledged to do more to empower his locals, adding that all arrangements have been done to empower more 500 women and 200 youths into various skills acquisitions.
"The member has sponsored the beneficiaries for 3 months training with one skills acquisition center in Gusau which he equipped with facilities, and he has promised to sponsor more than 200 youths to go for modern automobile training, modern barbing, scholarships among others." Mustapha said.
According to Mustapha, Mai-Palace has however charged other lawmakers in the state and Nigeria at large to follow suit to end the economic instability amongst citizens.
Among the materials distributed during the empowerment program include, 15 Sewing Machines, 15 Weaving Machines, Home Sanitary Materials and a token of N20, 000 to each of the beneficiary.
