KAROTA: Another Officer Crushed To Death By Reckless Driver In Kano.

An officer with Kano State Road and Traffic Agency (KAROTA) was on Saturday killed after a trailer driver crushed him to death at Hotoro Mega Filling Station, an area in Kano metropolis.
This is coming just a day after the police in Kano succeeded in arresting a driver (Alkasim Usaini) who also smashed do death another official of the agency (Ahmad Tijjani) on the 29th of Oct, 2019 while on duty.

Nabilusi narrated that the ill fated officer simply identified as Abdulrahaman has been evacuated from the scene and rushed to the Murtala Muhammad Specialist Hospital, but was pronounced dead before he was attended by the doctors on duty.
The MD Baffa Dan'agundi said the Agency is bereaved by the sad incidence and condoles the family members of the late officer and also warn the general public to desist from such act as the law would catch up with anyone who engages in committing such crime.
However, colleagues and other eye witness persons around the scene succeeded in preventing the driver from getting away, as he was arrested and handed over to the police in the area for further investigation.
