A beneficiary said even though some beneficiaries have decried  the delay of the ZASIP allowances on the stipulated date, the government would surely address the situation.
"I am optimistic that governor Matawalle would not deceive Zamfara state citizens in this matter, the money would be paid, I am sure" said the beneficiary.
Speaking to the Chairman social empowerment programmes, ZASIP, Alhaji Sufyanu Bashir Yuguda, assured that the payment would soon be made, adding that Zamfara state government has already set aside the money for the empowerment program.
Yuguda said that the possible reasons behind the delay to some beneficiaries must be due to incomplete details during registration, lack of bank account details, but not a problem from the government.
Yuguda disclosed that the the state government has engaged over 8, 075 beneficiaries on the programme.
ZASIP is the job creation and empowerment programme of Zamfara State Social Investment Programme (ZASIP) revived by Governor Bellows Muhammad Matawalle.
