KUST Receives Master Plan Review, Vows To Accelerate Developmental Activities

The Kano University of Science and Technology Wudil Monday said that it has received its Campus Master Plan Review completed by the firm handling the work, the Multi Systems Consultants.
A statement signed by the Deputy Head of Information and Public Relations Unit of the Univetsity, Malam Abdullahi Datti Abdullahi said, the Master Plan would pave way for the general development of structures on the Campus.
It could be recalled that the University management had earlier set up a committee to come up with the proposed Master Plan, and having completed its work, the responsibility for the production the Master Plan Review was vested on Multi Systems Consultants.
Presenting the Master Plan to the Vice Chancellor on Monday, the Managing Director of Multi Systems Consultants, Arc. Mansur Kurfi, said the Campus Detailed Plan covers roads, drainages, electricity, water system and other structures.

Haruna noted that “we did our best to make sure that the University grows in the right direction and to make teaching and learning conducive”.
In his response, Vice Chancellor, Prof. Shehu Alhaji Musa said the Master Plan will enable the University to fast track its activities.
“We owe it a duty to say thank you for what you have done, we say thank you being a partner to the University from inception to date”.
“We also appreciate you for the guidance and input you have been rendering to Architecture department for many years”, Prof. Musa stressed.
He pointed out that the company had meticulously carried out the production of the document, which he described as vital for the future transformation of the University.
Delivering the vote thanks, acting registrar, Alhaji Aminu Bello Muhammad commended the company for the expertise it exhibited in designing the Master Plan Review and urged it to continue to maintain the tempo.
